Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is in place to ensure that all the personal information of our participants is maintained in a professional and confidential environment and in accordance with all relevant legislative guidelines.

Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of providing training courses and agreed on services. However, official authorities may require the release of personal information for audit, register, award or administration purposes. 

If a participant is enrolled or referred to Rosella by a third party, Rosella will share with the referring organisations minimum information about the participant that necessary to achieve the referral objectives and meet contractual obligations within the scope of the relevant course or service only. Rosella may request a signed consent to release personal information.

The personal information that we collect and hold may include name, contact details, date of birth, referral source, employment history, qualifications, demographic information (e.g. Aboriginal, Culturally Diverse, Disabled, Ex-Offender, Homeless, Low Income, Mature Aged, Mental Illness, Refugee)

We destroy or permanently de-identify personal information when it is no longer required for any purpose for which it may be used or disclosed. However, it is not always practicable to destroy or de-identify electronic data. Where it is not reasonable to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information in electronic form, we will take reasonable steps to prevent inadvertent access to it.

You can inquire or complain about our privacy policy by writing to our Director via the email address [email protected]. You can also make complaints to the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner.

Subject to some exceptions that are set out in the National Privacy Principles, you can gain access to the personal information that we hold about you. Rosella do refuse access if it would interfere with the privacy rights of other persons or if it breaches any confidentiality that attached to that information.
